Listen to what parents of
children who have attended or are currently attending St.
Christopher’s have to say about us:
At a field trip to the Cumberland Heritage Museum, the
children learned about life in the early 1900s.
Premium offerings..
“We visited many preschools but found that none offered
the combination of free play and educational program with
the same quality and care as St. Christopher's. From day one
it has always felt like a caring and supportive environment
where the teachers seem genuinely interested in each child's
happiness and growing confidence. The large indoor facility,
regular field trips and all-inclusive price structure, are
also great features that really distinguish the school from
others in the area. Our child has attended St. Christopher's
Preschool for two years now and loves it. We could not be
more pleased.” – M.C.
“Highly recommended! ...I love that
the children are exposed to such a variety of experiences—field
trips, paramedics…” - P.C.
Gaining skills while having fun...
“My son has the opportunity
to do many activities and crafts we would not do at home.
His three amazing teachers seem to know the exact balance
of guidance and self-direction for him. I know St. Christopher’s
provides him with a good base with which to enter the school
system—learning how to manage himself in a group, sitting
still, etc. I love having a few hours to myself, and because
he enjoys being there, it makes it that much more enjoyable
for me.” – C.P
As a stay-at-home mom, I was worried that my children would
be missing some essential qualities when they reached Junior
Kindergarten. While we regularly attended playgroups and such,
they didn't spend a lot of time without me nearby. Through
their time at St. Christopher's my two children learned to
interact with their peers, sitting for circle time, new songs
and were reinforced with what they learned from home such
as alphabet, getting dressed, counting etc... They learned
it was fun to have time with their friends and gain "fun"
skills while away from their home environment.” –

“My son loves St. Christopher’s! He has made excellent
friendships and has thrived under the school’s flexible
routine. At only 3½, he is starting to recognize letters
and numbers and he has mastered his colours and shapes. His
speech therapist has noticed a marked improvement in his vocabulary,
which she attributes to his attendance at preschool.”-

Age appropriate activities...
“When I moved to Orleans,
I was so happy to find St. Christopher’s—an established,
well-run preschool, with qualified teachers… and no
duty days! My daughter attended for two years and now my son
is a student. At 2.5 years, he is one of the younger students.
I really like that during Circle Time, he is taught age-appropriate
content with other kids his age. And as he matures, he will
“graduate” to the older groups where he will continue
to be taught age-appropriate materials. I know that next year
he will be as stimulated and have as much fun as he did this
year.” – J.D.
Offering the extras...
“With two children, it’s a
lot more difficult to provide our second with the “little
extras” our first enjoyed. We were delighted to discover
that St. Christopher’s incorporates musical education
into their curriculum. “Music For Young Children”
is a well-known music program and our youngest can’t
wait for the next class. It’s the extras like these
that make St. Christopher’s such a great place for our
child.” – D.H.
